This 1971 International Harvester Scout 800B is powered by a replacement General Motors 350ci V8 paired with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The drivetrain is said to have been installed in October 2017. Work said to have been performed since 2020 included repainting the body, and replacing the wheels and tires, universal joints, windshield, both fuel tanks, chassis and engine compartment wiring, heater components, gauges, and engine accessories. The Grant GT steering wheel has a rubberized rim and fronts Stewart-Warner instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The odometer shows 4,559 miles, miles that reflect since the new drivetrain was installed. The General Motors 350ci V8 crate engine was factory rated at 335 horsepower.
